Usually one of the first questions a group has when they call to ask about staying with us is "What are your accomodations like?". Hopefully this will answer those questions! We try to keep this up to date, but as usual, things change sometimes overnight around here (for the better that is!). You'll note that some of the pictures on this page show that we're in various stages of construction, so bear with us as we strive to make LSS the best it can be. Even at this stage of construction, things in the main building are completed or nearly complete. The rooms are major comfy and individually air conditioned/heated. You won't have to worry about leaving your belongings while you're out ministering, as someone is here for the most part all the time. Best of all, you'll have an awesome Christian staff whose calling it is to serve your team, will be praying for you and can't wait to hear what God did with your day! Not to mention that the food is...well, hopefully some of the previous groups will read this page and LEAVE COMMENTS! :) MAKE SURE YOU DON'T JUST LOOK AT THE PICS BUT READ THE CAPTIONS AS WELL, BECAUSE THEY CONTAIN INFORMATION YOU'LL NEED SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO STAY WITH US! We hope this gives you an idea of what we here at LSS has to offer and we hope you'll give us the opportunity to facilitate your team to fulfill what He's calling you here to do. Should you have further questions, feel free to contact us at Mquest397@aol.com or call us at 956-417-3300 or the Director's cell at 956-235-1171. Blessings!

One of the biggest groups we have come and enjoy some good fajita dinners is POWER Ministry, based out of California, who come to see us each January and had a BIG part in a lot of the construction around here. Thanks guys.
Brownies for desert are ALWAYS a hit!
We do our dining "cafeteria style". Our front kitchen window lifts open and we have the food out on the counter, hot and ready to go.
We've recently completed our kitchen extention (once again with the help of POWER) and it's made it so much easier to feed larger groups much faster. Just a note, we DO NOT rent out our kitchen facilities or let the groups do their own cooking. Our staff is more than glad to take care of that for the groups who stay at LSS and all 3 meals are included in the price we charge to stay at LSS.
One thing we have very little complaint on here at LSS is the food. The biggest complaint we get is people came expecting to lose weight on their mission trip and ended up gaining! Sorry guys.
After taking groups in and out of Mexico for seven years, one thing our directors, Rick and Kim Hall, found and firmly believe, is to be effective on the mission field you have to be well rested and well fed. If you're sleeping on concrete floors and eating sandwiches and stale donuts all the time, you're going to be worn out, irritable and more likely to be tripped up by the enemy by infighting and illness. God has called us to provide a 'support team' for our groups, making sure they are well rested, have the nutrition they need and be the 'spiritual cheerleaders' to make sure they have the tools they need to complete what God's called them here to do.

Our library is located in the main building also. It's mostly reserved for our missionary families but can be used with permission for smaller groups or group leaders to meet in.
Probably the most you can fit comfortably is 20 or so.
Benches have been built and placed in strategic areas around the grounds and are perfect for morning devotions, prayer or just some peace and conversation.
