Hard to believe this is where we started in 2002! When the Halls moved in, this is what it looked like - no roof, no doors, no windows, just them and the lizards, tarantulas and scorpions. :) The only habitable room was on the front left corner (facing the building. God has truly blessed LSS in the last years to get where we are now.

This was our first visit to LSS back in 2000! People say "Where you shocked?" We say, yes, but not because it was so bad, but because never in a million years did we expect to start out with something this good!

We were excited when the roof went on several months AFTER we moved in the building! Windows were a plus too, but we still had to wait a while for the main doors. Oh well, what are a few horses wandering through the building?!

Here's our welcoming ranch style front gate. Several of our groups have had as much fun as Tom Sawyer 'white washing' the fence! :P

Things are progressing with the main building. The stucco is now on the outside.

And finally, here we are today, with the cantera tile around the bottom of the outside. Now all that needs to be done is the main windows over top of the doors and a pretty coat of paint and we'll be all beautiful!

What a difference a few years makes! Here is a local Spanish church congregation using LSS for their annual Easter fajita lunch! It's good to see the center being used for what God created it to do. What a blessing, to others AND to us!

Hmmm. As for the dining hall, this is what it looked like when we (Rick and Kim) moved in. It did get a little interesting during bad thunderstorms!

Now here it is being used by one of our teams that come down every year! What a change!
